Leeds Heritage Beer Tour

About the event

OpThis is a three-hour tour, visiting five venues with links to the history of beer in Leeds. Whilst on the tour, guests will learn about Leeds' beer history, including the story of Tetley's Brewery and the history of the famous Whitelock's Ale House.

Whilst walking between venues, we pass a number of other important historical Leeds sites, some of which date back to the Medieval period.

There will be a 30 minute stop in each venue, where guests can enjoy a half a pint of beer (or equivalent) whilst tour guide Mike tells the story of Leeds beer. Each beer has been specially selected to keep in theme with the tour. Drinks are included in the cost of a ticket.

The tour is for over-18s only. Venues operate a Challenge 25 policy, which means if you're fortunate to look younger than 25, please make sure you have ID with you.

The tour includes periods of walking between venues. The longest walk is approx. 15 minutes.

As a section of the tour involves outdoor walking, please check the weather and dress appropriately!
